Assisi (PG) - On August 11th Assisi will be renewing its devotion to the cult of St Claire with a host of celebrations and religious functions on her feast day, beginning at 11am with Holy Mass in the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli.

Assisi (PG) - On August 12th Assisi will be commemorating its patron saint, St Rufino, with Mass in the cathedral at 11am followed by the Palio pageant and ending with fireworks from the Rocca Maggiore at 11pm
Orvieto (TR) - The annual procession in honour of the Assumption of the Virgin, who is one of the patron saints of Orvieto, will take place on August 14th, with Holy Mass at 6pm followed at 7pm by the procession of the Baroque statue of the Virgin from the Church of Sant'Andrea to the Duomo and back again.
Città di Castello (PG) - On August 15th a special function will be held in the Basilica of Canoscio to commemorate the Transit of the Virgin from her earthly dwelling to her Heavenly glory.
Alviano (TR) - On August 15th the Feast of the Assumption will be commemorated in Alviano with the traditional procession bearing the statue of the Virgin through the streets, up from Alviano Scalo to the old town of Alviano.
