A guided tour of villas and gardens, castles and palaces, beautiful and unique places open for the occasion is "Stories of Villas and Gardens", the event organized by the Tourism of the Province of Perugia scheduled from Sunday, June 17 to Saturday, September 15. This year is the eighth edition; in the previous seven involved 65 sites, 13 public and 42 private, one in Tuscany, and has been a growing appreciation of the visitors recording over 5,000 admissions, with a request to participate largely in excess of the 'actual capacity of the visits (possible only with reservation and with limited number).
The program of 2012 offers eleven events:

June 17 in Perugia with Rufini Palaces, a small village near Corciano.

Spoleto June 24 you can visit
Palazzo Corvi Zacchei Travaglini, built in the area of old medieval houses '500.

Corciano Sunday,
July 8 with
Villa Pieve, the former residence of 1700.
4.
Orvieto, Castle Prodo Saturday,
July 14, built in the first half of '300 by the noble family of Prodenzani.
5.
Piegaro, Saturday,
July 21 with the
Abbey of the Seven Brothers, dating from the thirteenth in honor of seven brothers martyred in Rome in 164 AD.
6.
Perugia, Villa Colle del Cardinale, Sunday,
July 22, built by Cardinal Fulvio della Corgna, probably on the plans of the 1570s.
7. Impossible to miss a visit to
Villa Fidelia, Spello, owned by the Province of Perugia, Saturday,
July 28, built on the site of a Roman sanctuary.
8. A
Monte del Lago, Magione, opens its doors
Schnabl Villa Saturday,
September 1, built on the walls of the village as a country residence of the family Danzetta Alfani.
9. Sunday,
September 2 due to popular demand it is proposed the
Castle Castelleone, Deruta, an important artistic and architectural monument dating from the XII-XVI-XIX centuries.
10. The other Forte is the
Oscano Castle, Perugia, Sunday,
Sept. 9, remained abandoned until the early 1900s until the Austrian family Telfner built the present castle.
11. The journey ends with visits to
Palazzo Ranieri di Sorbello, Perugia, Saturday,
Sept. 15, an old palace dating from the seventeenth century, the home of Marquis Bourbon di Sorbello.
This edition will be repeated the winning formula of afternoon events focused on summer weekends from June to September, with no admission fee, a limited access, with reservations required.
